EVENT PHOTOS - Pumpkin Day 27th October 2024

We were so lucky with the weather that there was no need to put up the marquees! Homemade pumpkin soup was served with crusty bread. Traditional pumpkins were carved and we had a craft activity.

We were grateful to our local supermarket Morrisons who donated pumpkins for us to use. Thanks to early planting of pumpkins in the garden we grew in excess of 25 pumpkins for carving or making soup.

Our dedicated volunteers made homemade pumpkin soup which all went.   55 pumpkins were carved.   Numbers attending: 60 Adults 54 Children.

Thanks to those attending we collected £364.26 for garden funds from pumpkin soup, jams & chutney, pumpkin carving and a very sucessful tombola (less expenses).
