We were so lucky with the weather that there was no need to put up the marquees! Homemade pumpkin soup was served with crusty bread. Traditional pumpkins were carved and we had a craft activity making masks supervised by Ella from Groundworks.

We were grateful to our local supermarkets Lidl and Morrisons who donated pumpkins for us to use. Thanks to early planting of pumpkins in the garden we grew in excess of 25 pumpkins for carving or making soup.

Our dedicated volunteers made homemade pumpkin soup which all went.   In excess of 60 pumpkins were carved.   Numbers attending: 78 Adults 71 Children.

Thanks to those attending we collected £271.40 for garden funds from pumpkin soup, jams & chutney and donations (less expenses).
