EVENT PHOTOS - Easter Event 10th April 2022

This was the second major event since Pumpkin Day last October after the COVID-19 pandemic had caused a halt to our public gatherings in 2020 & and most of 2021.

Younger visitors enjoyed an Easter Trail to find letters within the garden and guess the word which they spelled, with a chocolate reward at the end. Craft activities included mask making, visitors could plant seeds in our forage garden, buy plants and enjoy wonderful homemade cakes.

Thanks to our brilliant volunteers and visitors, the event raised a total of £406.15 split between Plants Sale £127, Cakes & refreshments £168.62 and Easter trail £110.53. We could not do anyhing here without the help of the community.

We are trying to raise match funding so that we can apply for grants to build a sun/rain shelter, and this is a great start! The shelter will make the garden even more usable for the community, and we hope to host gardening, wellbeing and creative activities there.
