EVENT PHOTOS - Easter Event 13th April 2019

The day went very well and despite the strange weather of April showers and hail stones, we had over 200 visitors including children.  Drinks and biscuits raised £80 Donations £20.70 Making a total of £100.70. These funds help the Garden to continue to be maintained and developed.

The children's activities of clay nest making and Easter Rabbits were very popular with at least 80 being made. The creations were really amazing and were rewarded by a mini chocolate egg of which we gave out over 100!

Real nests were lent to us by Hastings Country Park volunteers and a story from Mary about a dragon egg was conducted in the small sunny interlude.

A wonderful addition to the day was 'Project Rewild' which was held just behind the Garden. Making small fires and toasting marshmallows was a highlight of the children's day.

Thanks to Mary for organising and all of our volunteers for making it such a success.
